New York in a Puddle

A photo I took in Central Park this spring by the baseball fields.  I noticed a small puddle in the grass and realized you could see the reflection of some of the skyscrapers to the south of the park.  It caught my eye.

upcoming hubpage articles

I'm working on a number of articles and ideas right now for Hubpages.  So here's a preview! I'm writing an article about the Great New England Hurricane of 1938, which my grandmother lived through, an article on the media and oil spills, a particular vacation spot, possibly something to do with the evolving vampire genera in pop culture, and a movie review.  Hopefully I'll have some done by the end of the weekend, if not by next week.  I also want to add some pics to the blog, maybe I'll take some just for my blog as well as stock photos.

Backyard bird

Was out in my backyard and turned around to see this bird sitting on a branch.  I got within a foot of the bird and it still didn't move, so i pulled out my phone (hence the quality of the pic)  and took a few pics. It was interesting that th bird just sat there for a while like the phone 8 inches away from him was no big deal!
